How to design the Help.center widget?

Your Help.center widget is the first thing users see when they need help. It's important to make it easy to use and helpful so they have a good experience. This guide will show you how to customize the appearance of your Help.center widget.

Open Settings

Log in to your Help Center Dashboard and navigate to the Settings section. Click on Design under Widget.

Customize the Appearance

It is possible to change the color of your widget by changing the Widget theme. You can also choose a Launcher icon that represents your brand, which will be displayed on the widget.

Customize the Home Page

In the widget, there are three tabs: Home, Ask and Help. In the Home section, you can update the Home logo as required. You can also change the Hero Text, which is the title of your Help.center widget. There is also an option to add recommended articles.

Additional Links

In this section, you can add as many links as you want by clicking on Add. These links are the first options shown to the customer, which can direct them to frequently asked questions or key sections. You can choose a custom icon for each additional link. Don't forget to save your changes after you're done.

Customize the Ask Page

Under the Ask section, you can add an Avatar for the chat interface to personalize the interaction. You can also set a Welcome Message that greets your users when they open the widget. This can be a simple welcome note or instructions on how to use the widget.

Additional Options

Each of the options; Home, Ask and Help can be turned off and the widget will adjust accordingly.
